Job Description
We are representing a fantastic consumer lending business, looking to hire a Senior Legal Counsel based in London. This role is ideal for someone with a great understanding of FCA Regulations coming from a Regulatory Legal background.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing strategic legal advice to the business on a range of issues including commercial, regulatory and compliance
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts
* Ensuring company is compliant with relevant regulations and interacting with relevant regulatory bodies (FCA) and providing training where relevant
* Working closely with other departments including Finance, Commercial & Compliance
* Company secretarial duties
Qualifications:
* 6-8 years PQE E & W Qualified Lawyer
* Private Practice Law Firm trained with Financial Services In-House experience (including Secondments)
* Strong experience in Financial Services Regulatory matters and advisory work
* Excellent educational background
