Responsive Repairs Manager - Self Delivery

We currently have an opportunity for a Responsive Repairs Manager to join our Team based in Hull. This is a senior position, and you will need to be able to confidently influence and drive change and continuous improvement across various teams within the business. For this role you will be expected to lead the review, development and delivery of a high-quality responsive repairs service, through supply chain partners, ensuring effective delivery of the Group’s operations to ensure that housing operations and customers receive high quality, safe and value for money services that meet their identified needs.
The role of Responsive Repairs Manager - Self Delivery will include:
* Lead the review, delivery and reporting of responsive repairs programmes and projects designed to enhance the services provided by the Group ensuring compliance with relevant housing and legal legislation which meet the needs of our customers and the wider community, maximising customer satisfaction and value for money
* Manage the provision of consistently high quality timely and meaningful information to senior management and external departments, working closely with the property services management team to identify performance improvement issues and improvement actions
* Lead the review of agreed performance management objectives across responsive repairs functions within the region and across all areas of the governance structure
* Promote and manage good decision making across the region, reviewing, implementing and maintaining performance systems and processes to ensure compliance with required legislation and good practice, improve economic and financial performance and ensure continued financial viability
Skills and experiences:
* Recent experience in a similar role
* Comprehensive experience of producing progress reports and management information, including making recommendations for changes needed to ensure delivery
* Proven experience in working with others to deliver projects, including indirect reports and third party suppliers
* Proven experience in developing solutions in line with business strategies whilst meeting business and user needs
* Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English
