Location: Covering Sussex (with one package in Hampshire) – Remote with field-based visits (Monday–Friday)
Salary: Up to £45,000 - £50,000per annum
Hours: Full time, Monday–Friday
Contract: Permanent
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinical Lead to join our forward-thinking Complex Care and Mental Health provider. This is a field-based role with remote working, responsible for overseeing and supporting 7 community-based packages of care for clients with a range of needs, including:
Learning Disabilities (LD)
Mental Health (MH) and challenging behaviours
Complex physical health needs such as PEG, CPAP, epilepsy management, tracheostomy, and stoma care
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of safe, effective, and person-centred care are consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct clinical audits, risk assessments, and care plan reviews.
Write, review, and update individualised care plans.
Provide competency sign-offs and deliver training to field staff.
Offer clinical oversight and ongoing support for complex care interventions.
Work closely with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
Respond to clinical incidents, escalating as appropriate.
Ensure compliance with CQC and company policies at all times.
Travel to client homes across Sussex (and occasionally Hampshire) as required.
Requirements:
Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with active NMC pin.
Minimum 2 years’ post-graduate experience.
Must be a car driver with own vehicle.
Experience in community, complex care, or mental health settings.
Ideally experienced with PEG, tracheostomy, and stoma care.
Strong clinical governance knowledge.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
Ability to work autonomously and flexibly across a regional patch.
Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).
