We are on the hunt for a Yard Supervisor to join our busy distribution site in Durham, who's as passionate about great service as we are. Hours: Monday to Friday 6am to 3:30am or 8:30am to 6pm - candidates must be flexible to cover both shifts Location: Jewson MBS, 60 Damson Way, Dragonville Industrial Estate, Durham DH1 2YN Key Responsibilities Managing team of between 5-10 Yard Operatives Ensure your team are set up for the day, including delivery drivers with route planning Help to process and prepare customer orders - load and unload customer and supplier Using a forklift truck to minimise manual handling Work as a direct support the management team and act as a keyholder when needed Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts Keep the site looking clean and tidy and make Health & Safety a priority Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvements What’s in it for you?
