About the Role
We’re looking for a Scientific Team Lead to play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality scientific and strategic outputs across multiple accounts within a leading medical communications agency. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced medical communications professional who thrives on combining scientific expertise, content leadership, project oversight, and client partnership.
As a Scientific Team Lead, you will ensure that all scientific deliverables meet the highest standards of accuracy, creativity, and strategic value, while supporting the growth and development of both clients and internal team members.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide scientific leadership across assigned accounts, ensuring all outputs align with client strategy, therapeutic area landscape, industry guidelines, and the highest editorial standards.
* Oversee the development and delivery of high-quality medical communications content, maintaining scientific integrity and best-practice processes across channels and project types.
* Act as a trusted scientific partner to clients, proactively identifying needs, shaping scientific strategy, and resolving complex or challenging issues.
* Lead and manage a team within the scientific group, providing coaching, guidance, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
* Collaborate with client services teams on financial management, account planning, and business growth opportunities.
* Maintain efficient and effective scientific working practices, operational processes, and quality frameworks across assigned teams.
* Serve as a role model for scientific excellence, teamwork, and agency values, promoting an inclusive and positive culture.
