The primary role is to assist the Road Train Driver by managing passenger-related tasks, ensuring passenger safety and facilitating smooth operations.
Key responsibilities include helping passengers boarding and disembarking, checking and issuing tickets and providing route or local information to passengers.
The successful candidate needs to have:
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for interacting with passengers and providing excellent service
* A good understanding of safety procedures
* Conductors often need to handle multiple tasks simultaneously such as assisting passengers and monitoring the road train environment
* Good local knowledge in order to provide accurate information to passengers
* This is a seasonal fixed term role during the summer based in Bowness on Windermere. Applicants are required to work 2 + days and this includes weekends
