We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Team Leader for a childrens home in Hatfield (AL10).
This is a fantastic opportunity to help lead and support a dedicated team providing high-quality care to children and young people.
The children home is registered to provide support for children and young people who have emotional, complex, social and behavioural needs.
The ethos of the childrens homes is to provide safety and stability to children in a time of great difficulty and change, enabling them to continue with everyday life even though they may be facing tough challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead by example and support a team of Residential Support Workers in delivering consistent, nurturing care
2. Oversee daily routines and ensure a safe, structured, and positive environment for children and young people
3. Support the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in implementing care plans, policies, and quality standards
4. Mentor junior staff and assist with training and development
5. Build strong, supportive relationships with children, helping them develop life skills and resilience
