The Role
As Head of Girls' PE, you will lead the delivery of high-quality Physical Education across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, with a focus on developing girls' sport and increasing engagement. Based in West London, you will oversee curriculum planning, staff development, and extracurricular provision.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the girls' PE curriculum across KS3-KS5
* Deliver outstanding PE lessons and model best practice
* Drive participation and excellence in girls' sport
* Organise fixtures, clubs, and enrichment opportunities
* Support and develop members of the PE department
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement
About You
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Proven experience teaching PE across KS3-KS5
* Experience or readiness for a Head of Girls' PE leadership role
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for girls' sport
* High expectations of student achievement and participation
* Organised, proactive, and collaborative approach
