Position Summary:
Fernway’s Inventory Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, assisting with inventory counts daily and weekly, receiving shipments and transferring items between warehouses.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Conducting daily inventory cycle counts for cannabis inventory & weekly cycle counts for non-cannabis inventory items, including merchandise and apparel
* Preparing & organizing labels of inventory items within the vault and warehouse
* Receiving shipments of both cannabis and non-cannabis material
* Loading and unloading pallets and boxes onto a box truck
* Driving a box truck between two warehouses
* Assisting in picking & packing of several orders daily
* Maintain inventory par levels in Excel, and update reports daily to inform management
* Provide occasional support with conducting deliveries
* Communicate well with supervisors and other team members
* Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to take on additional tasks such as warehouse management, deliveries/pickups, packaging, etc., on an as-needed basis
Requirements:
* Must be at least 21 years old
* Experience operating a box truck (26’) with a liftgate
* Experience with warehouse equipment (i.e. pallet jack, forklift)
* Massachusetts Driver’s License
* Must have your own reliable transportation to use between our two locations
* Experience using inventory management software
* Advanced Excel skills
* Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain organization in the warehouses
* Flexible work schedule, with the ability to work after-hours as circumstances dictate
* Must be able to pass Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) background check
* A high degree of integrity and ethical conduct always
* Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
* Self-starter with a positive attitude
* Outstanding verbal and written skills
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Ability to climb a ladder up to 12’

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $17.00 - $17.50/hour.
