Part-Time Farm & Estate Operative (12–20 Hours per Week)
We are looking for a reliable and practical individual to join our team on a part-time basis.
This role will be 12 hours per week (approximately 2 days), increasing to up to 20 hours per week during the summer months.
Key Responsibilities
Planting, watering and maintaining trees
Painting and general estate maintenance
Fencing work
Assisting with cattle
Dog park maintenance
Filling farmland supplementary bird feeders
Checking and maintaining bird boxes
Spot spraying using a knapsack sprayer
Supporting mole catching during winter months
Operating strimmers and other handheld equipment
Requirements
Full, clean driving licence (essential)
Practical, hands-on approach to work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather
Experience in farming, estate work, or similar environment desirable but not essential
Training will be provided, including safe operation of a Gator vehicle.
This is a varied and rewarding role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining high standards across a rural estate.
