Are you a hands-on Electronics Engineer who enjoys travel, problem-solving, and working directly with customers? We're recruiting for an Electronics Field Service Engineer to join a growing service team, supporting customers across the UK and internationally.

As an Electronics Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, calibrating, installing and supporting high-quality test and measurement instrumentation at customer facilities.
Electronics Field Service Engineer Key Responsibilities:
* Assessing customer requirements and planning travel to meet service needs
* Performing on-site servicing, repairs and calibrations
* Installing new equipment at customer locations
* Delivering basic operator training
* Preparing quotations for on-site work
* Managing tools and spare-parts stock
* Recording all activities accurately
* Providing remote technical support and troubleshooting
* Supporting special projects as required
To succeed as an Electronics Field Service Engineer, you’ll be technically capable, organised, customer-focused and comfortable working independently in the field.
Electronics Field Service Engineer Essential Skill set:
* College-level qualification in electronics servicing or similar
* 1–2+ years’ experience in a service or field engineering role
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Confident communicator with customers and colleagues
* Good IT skills and attention to detail
* GCSE-level maths, English and science
* Willingness to travel extensively and work flexibly when required
Electronics Field Service Engineer Desirable Skill set:
* Degree in mechanical or electronic engineering
* Experience with calibration or test instrumentation
* Knowledge of quality systems or regulated environments
* International field service exposure
