Shear Design Ltd
We are Shear Design Ltd, a civil and structural engineering consultancy based in Cardiff, working across the UK. Since our formation in 2004, we’ve built a practice around delivering practical, economical, and sustainable engineering solutions for a wide range of developments — from residential and commercial buildings to education, healthcare, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
Our work spans both civil and structural engineering, including:

We’re a collaborative team based at Cardiff Gate Business Park, combining technical engineering knowledge with a practical understanding of construction. The goal is always the same: robust, efficient designs that work on site, not just on paper.
