As a Cleaning Manager You’ll
* Lead and support the team, ensuring training, development, and adherence to standards in attendance, performance, behaviour, appearance, and quality.
* Conduct staff performance reviews and maintain records including SLA data, stock, and equipment checks.
* Manage and order cleaning supplies and consumables through approved vendors.
* Complete COSHH risk assessments and maintain chemical safety data sheets.
* Complete and maintain RASSOW.
* Build and maintain effective client relationships to support service excellence and enhance company reputation.
* Review and improve operational procedures to maximise customer satisfaction.
* Adjust rotas and schedules to meet staffing and customer needs, covering absences as required.
* Ensure staff conduct equipment checks, follow colour coding and waste disposal procedures.
* Promote Health & Safety compliance, ensuring incidents, hazards, and near misses are reported and documented.
* Assist with onsite cleaning services as needed.
What We’re Looking For
* Knowledge of COSHH
* Health and Safety knowledge
* Excellent supervisory skills
* Extensive knowledge of successful cleaning and management
* Good interpersonal and oral communication skills with people at all levels
* Good PC knowledge.
* Understanding of safety and sanitation standards and guidelines
* Proven experience in managing and leading cleaning teams.
* Skilled in team leadership and management.
