We’re recruiting an additional Nurse Manager in Maidstone to meet the growing demand for our nurse-led complex community care service in and around the West Kent area, including Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Paddock Wood, and surrounding areas.
This role is perfect for a registered nurse with experience in complex community care or a private hospital setting, who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
The Role:
As a Nurse Manager, you oversee a small caseload of complex care clients. Our Nurse Managers work holistically with clinical excellence, focusing on building strong relationships with clients, families, and their care teams.
Your responsibilities include managing care plans, supporting the induction of new team members, and providing clinical care—such as tracheostomy, ventilation, and gastronomy management—when needed.
The overall goal of a Nurse Manager is to ensure clients receive exceptional service from a well-trained, enthusiastic team of support workers and registered nurses who share our values of passion for quality, one family, and inspiring leadership.

Responsibilities
* Lead packages of care and support the Care and Nursing team.
* Develop person-centered care plans and guidance.
* Conduct staff supervision, audits, and case management duties.
* Be part of the 24-hour service team, undertaking nursing shifts when required.
* Oversee staff inductions and competency assessments.
* Carry out disciplinary and reflective practice meetings.
* Liaise with the wider care team including MDTs on client care.
* Conduct competency assessments with new team members.
* Collaborate with the wider care team and Registered Manager.
Requirements
* You will be an Adult-trained Registered Nurse and hold a valid NMC PIN.
* A minimum of three years’ post-registration experience.
* Experience in providing community-based care, ideally complex care, with experience in PEG, tracheostomy care, and ventilators.
* Proven background in complex care and up-to-date competencies.
* You will have the right to work in the UK and hold a clean UK driving licence.
* Ability to demonstrate management/team leadership experience.
