Job Description
IT Business Analyst
Flexible on GTUK office location + Hybrid working available

The IT Business Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges, refine processes, define requirements, and design solutions across various initiatives.
Role Responsibilities
1. Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
o Engage with stakeholders via interviews, workshops, surveys, and other methods to identify and document business requirements and update product backlogs.
o Analyze and prioritize requirements aligning with business objectives.
o Validate requirements with stakeholders and assess feasibility with technical teams.
o Apply first principles to process and technology improvements, recommending solutions that support strategic value drivers such as value creation, operational efficiency, and modern ways of working.
o Collaborate with development teams to implement process changes and monitor their impact.
o Continuously seek opportunities to optimize business processes and systems.
2. Solution Design and Validation:
o Work closely with technical, development, product, design, and project colleagues to ensure solutions meet business needs and deliver expected value.
o Provide feedback and recommend improvements based on testing and operational monitoring.
3. Stakeholder Management:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
o Facilitate meetings and updates to keep stakeholders engaged.
o Address and resolve issues or concerns promptly.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience as a technology-focused Business Analyst using industry-standard techniques for process improvements and requirement documentation.
* Experience in process improvement and requirement gathering from first principles.
* Understanding of software development lifecycle and technology implementation projects.
* Experience with tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar.
* Willingness to travel for in-person meetings.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Skills
* Background in technology or development, with exposure to Microsoft M365, Power Platform, SharePoint, Azure, Workday, or GenAI.
* Relevant professional certifications.
* Knowledge of professional services or partnership organizations.
