Location: North Wales. Home working with Site Visits
Our Infrastructure Services team continues to grow, and we’re looking for a Land Liaison Officer to join our expanding team in North Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with landowners, supporting contractors on the ground, and playing a key role in the delivery of major infrastructure projects.
You’ll be the primary point of contact for landowners and occupiers, ensuring access is agreed, conditions are recorded, and contractors operate in line with land requirements and regulations. It’s a varied, people‑focused role with plenty of autonomy and site work.
What you’ll be doing
* Liaising with landowners, occupiers and wider stakeholders on all land‑related matters
* Ensuring contractors understand and comply with pre‑entry notice requirements
* Arranging and completing pre‑ and post‑entry condition surveys
* Managing landowner queries and following up on requests
* Keeping landowners informed on accommodation works (access, water, fencing, etc.)
* Supporting the wider project team to ensure smooth delivery across sites
What we’re looking for
* ALTE Level 4/5 in Welsh (or working towards)
* Experience in a Land or Agricultural Liaison role (advantageous but not essential)
* Strong understanding of agricultural and rural affairs
* Knowledge of land drainage or rural infrastructure (beneficial)
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Confident communicator with clear written and verbal skills
* Health & Safety awareness
* Full UK driving licence
What’s on offer
* Discretionary bonus scheme
* 25 days holiday rising to 30 with service, plus your birthday off
* Two additional half‑days for Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve
* Enhanced family leave policies
* Access to a wellbeing and mental health support service
* Online discounts and savings portal
* Two days of paid volunteering leave per year
