Job Overview
To maintain the security and life safety of the client’s staff, property, information, operations and reputation.
Pay and Shift Pattern
Pay: £21.74 per hour. Shift pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 days off.
Security System Responsibilities
* Oversee proactive management and monitoring of all security systems, including CCTV, access control, panic alarms.
* Carry out immediate triage and investigation into alarms arising from all security systems to reduce potential impact on bank operations.
* Work with the bank’s corporate security systems team and vendors to triage nuisance alarms and security system downtime.
* Provide the bank’s corporate security systems team and vendors with timely data arising from system alarms.
* Comply with Data Protection requirements in matters relating to investigations, databases, CCTV and access records.
* Report any equipment faults to the relevant vendor, providing correct details in a timely manner.
* Effectively report and escalates information regarding potential threats to Deutsche Bank from internal and external sources.
* Complete baseline CCTV patrols of all local and regional assets.
Events & Executive Protection Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee all emergency response activities for executive residences in conjunction with external monitoring companies and escalated into the bank and EEP management team.
* Maintain EEP records and implement changes upon instruction from EEP management.
Training, HR, and Personnel Responsibilities
* Carry out investigations and disciplinary activities.
* Liaise with Mitie HR for guidance with outstanding HR cases.
* Train and uplift ROCOs to undertake ROCM duties confidently.
* Report to Mitie site management any instances of insubordination, undesired conduct or negligence.
* Carry out performance reviews for ROCOs under your responsibility.
* Carry out and record quarterly welfare visits for all ROC/SCR personnel under your responsibility.
* Report safety hazards, injuries and first aid incidents within 12 hours.
* Carry out scenario exercises to test KOD knowledge and conduct training to close knowledge gaps.
* Maintain working knowledge of current Mitie HR policies.
Travel & Traveller Security Responsibilities
* Monitor, remain alert to, communicate, and escalated local and regional security events that might impact business travellers and/or operations.
* Contact travellers to establish safety and monitor/support travel disruptions.
* Carry out call‑tree tests to confirm staff safety in conflict regions.
* Demonstrate a good understanding of travel risk management.
Crisis and Emergency Response Responsibilities
* Effectively support Deutsche Bank Crisis Management procedures and processes.
* Respond to, manage, and escalated emergencies in accordance with Corporate Security and Non‑Financial Risk Management (NFRM) Key Operating Documents (KODs).
* Maintain working knowledge of the Incident Management Process.
* Assist with building evacuations when necessary.
* Manage, coordinate, and escalated emergency calls and incidents related to security and life safety events.
* Provide first aid if required during an emergency medical situation.
Compliance, Communication and Administrative Responsibilities
* Attend the weekly Sister Bank Conference call and produce comprehensive reports to the Client and Senior Management.
* Manage, review and implement agreed ROC/SCR KODs.
* Ensure ROC/SCR communication meets professional standards and take remedial action where below expectations.
* Maintain clear, concise radio and telephone communication with colleagues and Mitie management at all times.
* Deal with client and Deutsche Bank staff professionally, effectively and courteously.
* Record and escalated any security breaches in accordance with AIs.
* Attend weekly Ops meetings and brief ROC teams on threat intel, ops changes and events.
* Ensure adequate and effective staffing levels across ROC/SCR personnel.
Legal and Legislative Responsibilities
* Possess strong understanding of data privacy and GDPR and apply knowledge appropriately.
* Maintain records of data release forms for audit.

Authority
* Recommend changes to existing KODs to maintain security and safety of client property, information and staff.
* Suggest changes to equipment from an end‑user perspective to maintain effective ROC operations.
Nil Authority
* Cannot permanently alter assignment instructions without consent of Mitie management or the Client.
* Cannot alter records, reports or databases maintained by installed equipment.
* Cannot obtain goods or services amounting to capital expenditure without consent of Mitie management or the Client.
