The position's shift pattern is Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00.
This role is based within the business support team, offering comprehensive administrative and secretarial services to the Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services (ADRS) and the Care and Treatment multidisciplinary team in the North West HSCP area.
The post supports frontline staff across three locations within the North West Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service, which assesses and supports patients with drug or alcohol addictions. The tasks must be performed efficiently and accurately to ensure smooth operational service delivery.
Responsibilities include processing referrals, updating systems such as Carefirst, EMIS, and DAIS waiting times, typing correspondence in Winvoice Pro, minute-taking, front-line reception duties, and answering calls. This essential role contributes significantly to patient service delivery.
Experience / Qualifications
* Competence in the use of computer packages, evidenced by experience or formal qualification (e.g., ECDL).
* Knowledge of office environment operations and equipment.
* Experience in secretarial or administrative roles, familiar with office procedures and systems.
* Accurate keyboarding and reception procedures.
* Basic medical terminology knowledge is advantageous.
