What the Job Involves This role involves delivering a sophisticated social work service within the framework of legislation, policy, and best practice. You will handle cases for children in need, children in need of protection, looked-after children, and care leavers where relevant. Key responsibilities include joint working with other professionals, conducting and reassessing needs assessments, planning and executing interventions, monitoring and reviewing care plans, and undertaking direct work with children and families. Additionally, you will manage time effectively, maintain accurate records, contribute to team development, and engage in supervision and team meetings. You will also supervise students and unqualified staff, providing mentorship and professional guidance.
