Job Description The Infant Assessment Team has responsibility for undertaking parenting capacity assessments and progressing permanence planning for the youngest children within the authority. We are seeking an experienced and motivated social worker who has experience working within a statutory childcare setting undertaking complex assessments and care planning. The right candidate will have The Promise central to their thinking and values, taking a strengths-based approach to practice, and a trauma informed approach to working with families. As a service we can offer you comprehensive training as we implement ‘Readiness to Practice’ across the authority. This is a suite of training utilising a BALTIC approach (built on theories which are Brain based, Attachment Led, Trauma Informed and Community focused) to train to a trauma enhanced level of practice.
