About the Role
As an Administrative Officer, you'll be part of a supportive team helping to ensure the smooth running of courts and tribunals. You'll carry out a wide range of admin tasks and be a key point of contact for members of the public, legal professionals, and the judiciary.

Key Responsibilities
Administration & Operations
1. Prepare files and court documents
2. Manage in-house systems and data entry
3. Handle post, photocopying, filing, and bookings
4. Support court clerking, listings, hearings, and user assistance
5. Communicate with judiciary, legal professionals, and court users
Casework & Document Handling
6. Process legal documents, court orders, claims, and results
7. Validate and check data, ensure compliance
8. Handle fees, fines, and basic financial calculations
Team & Continuous Improvement
9. Participate in team meetings and improvement projects
10. Take on ad hoc roles such as Jury Bailiff Officer or L&D Coordinator
About You
We're looking for someone who:
11. Has 5 GCSEs (grades A-C)* or equivalent, or relevant administrative experience
12. Possesses strong IT and data entry skills
13. Works well under pressure and can manage their own workload
14. Is professional, reliable, and confident communicating with people at all levels
15. Has a positive attitude to teamworking and continuous improvement
