Partner with the best As part of our team, you will lead early‑phase engineering studies, manage technical interfaces, and support the successful planning and execution of subsea and energy projects. You will collaborate across global product lines, delivery partners, and client organizations to ensure clarity of scope, alignment of objectives, and high‑quality technical outcomes. Your work will influence project strategy, improve processes, and strengthen Baker Hughes’ position in early engagement and study delivery. Fuel your passion As a Study / Systems Engineer, you will take ownership of planning, coordination, and delivery of multidisciplinary studies from feasibility through FEED. You will manage interfaces, support tendering and execution teams, and provide leadership across technical, commercial, and client‑facing activities. You will also contribute to continuous improvement, promote new technologies, and support business development initiatives. As a Study / Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for: Leading study planning, CTR development, and multidisciplinary teams from feasibility or concept definition through to FEED. Providing input and hand‑off support to tendering, detailed engineering, and execution phases. Managing interface definition and study coordination across Baker Hughes’ global product teams, delivery partners, and clients. Owning interface management, change control, technical variations, and overall delivery of assigned scope. Managing systems engineering progress, technical issues, and interface topics in project meetings and progress reports. Leading process‑improvement initiatives and supporting data‑driven decision‑making. To be successful in this role you will: Hold a Master’s degree or a bachelor’s degree with significant industrial experience leading studies, projects, or managing interfaces (experience in consultancy, Oil & Gas operators, subsea equipment manufacturing, SURF, or offshore renewables is desirable but not essential). Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Have broad knowledge of project and engineering management processes, systems engineering, and decision‑analysis frameworks (INCOSE, AACE, APM, or PRINCE2 desirable but not essential). Bring experience in consultancy, study management, project management, or project engineering within a multidisciplinary environment. Ideally have experience in one or more of the following: cost estimation, project planning, CAD or field layout tools, field architecture, flow assurance, process engineering, SPS, risers, flowlines and pipelines, control systems, constructability, or installation.
