Essential Responsibilities:
1. Manage a team of financial controllers and ensure their effective performance
2. Perform risk assessments and identify improvements in the control and risk management framework
3. Develop and maintain accounting and reporting processes in compliance with laws and regulations
4. Monitor Key Performance Indicators and Key Risk Indicators to drive operational performance
5. Ensure regulatory compliance of outsourced activities
6. Manage the month close process and present reports to senior leadership
7. As a finance leader, you will help shape the strategy for CAO and finance, and influence decision making of stakeholders across the enterprise.
Minimum Qualifications:
8. 10+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:
9. Significant experience in senior Finance leadership roles (Director level or equivalent)
10. Strong background in financial reporting, controls, and operating within regulated environments
11. Experience in financial services, payments, fintech, or banking preferred
12. Knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements and safeguarding frameworks highly desirable
13. Proven ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders
14. Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA) strongly preferred
15. Strong commercial acumen with strategic thinking capability
16. Experience working in a matrixed, global organisation
17. High integrity with a strong focus on governance and control
18. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
19. Ability to balance regulatory discipline with business agility

20. Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of financial information
21. Maintain robust financial management for the UK entity
22. Oversee accounting policies, processes, and controls
Regulatory & Capital Oversight
23. Oversee liquidity risk management and stress testing
24. Act as the primary point of contact for finance-related regulatory interactions
Risk & Controls
25. Manage financial risk frameworks across global and local models
26. Support enterprise-wide risk governance
27. Act as a key contact for external auditors and regulatory financial matters
28. Ensure compliance of outsourced activities with regulatory requirements
Strategy & Governance
29. Lead financial planning and forecasting processes
30. Support Board-level decision-making with financial insights
31. Participate in senior management and governance committees (risk, compliance, control forums), providing financial oversight
