Chef Manager, Sushi – Morning Shifts Only
We are recruiting a full-time (35‑hour) Chef Manager for Sushi Gourmet C/O Sainsbury’s, 9-11 Moor Allerton Centre, Leeds, LS17 5NY.

Responsibilities
* Lead the team to deliver outstanding sushi each shift.
* Demonstrate enthusiasm, initiative and a can‑do attitude.
* Offer customer service with a smile.
* Work well as part of a team or independently while maintaining high standards.
* Produce high‑quality, sustainable food products.
* Maintain audit and food safety standards and meet EHO expectations.
* Ensure a clean, safe environment for customers, clients and staff.
* Plan forward and be highly organised.
* Prepare fresh ingredients, including meat and raw fish, each shift.
* Label products to comply with food safety and allergen regulations.
* Multitask effectively.
* Be an early riser; shifts may start at 6:00 am.
* Continuously learn and improve existing skills.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience leading people and building team confidence.
* Ready to work in a fast‑paced environment and lead by example.
* Pride in work, constantly looking for improvement.
* Good understanding of Food Safety & Health & Safety regulations and the ability to follow brand standards.
* Reliability: ownership of pre‑shift preparation and transport to work early in the morning.
* Level 2 Food Safety certificate, HACCP, Allergens and COSHH desirable but training will be provided.
