Role Overview:
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting students’ academic progress and well-being within Key Stage 2. Your duties will include collaborating with teachers, delivering tailored interventions, and providing additional support to students with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
Implement targeted interventions to support student learning and growth.
Offer one-on-one or small group support to students requiring extra assistance.
Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Assist in planning and preparing learning activities.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within KS2.
Demonstrated ability to conduct effective interventions and support student progress.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Genuine passion for education and student development.
Relevant qualifications or training (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification) preferred but not mandatory.
