Job Description
At Johnsons 1871, we’re excited to offer a new opportunity for apassionate and driven Business Development Manager to join our team.
We’re looking for someone who thrives on building relationships,creating opportunities, and closing deals. If you’re commercially minded,proactive, and motivated by results, you could be the perfect fit to help usgrow our wide range of services and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow saleswithin defined sectors
* Identify and develop newbusiness opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking andrelationship building
* Support and motivatesales development to drive revenue growth
* Follow up on leadsgenerated by marketing and lead generation teams
* Develop and manageeffective contact networks and strategic partnerships
* Work closely withinternal teams, including Estimating and Account Management, to ensuretimely responses and client satisfaction
* Accurately forecast andreport on sales performance
* Maintain CRM records,update dashboards and contribute to performance reports
* Maintain a positive,professional approach when dealing with clients and colleagues
* Offer product andservice expertise, confidently addressing customer queries
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
* Strong B2B salesbackground, ideally with experience across multiple product or servicelines
* Proven experience inaccount management and growing client relationships
* Excellent communicationskills – written, verbal, and face-to-face
* High level ofprofessionalism with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels
* Comfortable using CRMsystems and MS Office applications
* Organised,detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
* A collaborative,team-first mindset with a proactive attitude
* Comfortablecommunicating to all levels and be flexible enough for client entertainmentoutside of working hours
* This is a role that requires nationwide travel, therefore a driving licence is required
* Minimum 3 years in salesroles
* Minimum 1 year inaccount management
* Experience working withmultiple stakeholders
* Demonstrated success incross-selling or multi-product environments
* Driving License Required
