Working with the team’s project managers, you will have a unique opportunity to lead and represent requirements and potential solutions to key stakeholders across the business. The primary objective of this role is to support a key initiative enhancing Financial Crime oversight procedures, so experience in Financial Crime is a key requirement. This role can be Manchester or London based. Core Responsibilities in the role: Working collaboratively with the project manager to support them with analysis, requirements documentation, current state / future state planning, risk management, delivery assurance and issue resolution. Identify and scope the data sources and paths between our third-party platform provider, other third parties and internal systems. Work with internal and third-party teams to produce required documentation to move projects towards completion. Find and propose creative ways to solve problems and work closely with internal and external teams to evaluate business opportunities, documenting requirements and areas for improvement. Align with the project manager to be an advocate for change, by clearly articulating the benefits and promoting acceptance, across functional team members and leadership teams, of ‘to-be’ models and frameworks. Be able to estimate effort for requirement elicitation and analysis across the project. Ensures that all deliverables align to the business objective and align with IT strategies and methodologies. Define and document the requirements for system integrations and assist in implementing solutions. Participate in other projects and perform other duties as assigned. What it takes: Business Analyst with Financial Crime experience (e.g. AML, KYC, fraud, sanctions etc.) across asset management and/or financial services firms. Experience to include requirements gathering, gap analysis, as-is / to-be process mapping, requirements definition etc. Demonstrable experience in using tools, analysis, documentation and strategic problem solving to successfully progress projects to completion. 5 years of experience in the financial services industry, ideally with retail investment platforms experience. Excellent written, visual, and verbal communications skills, able to influence and negotiate whilst showing business judgment and work ethic. Diligence with strong organisational, interpersonal and relationship management skills. Ability to deliver multiple concurrent projects and manage competing priorities. Special Factors This position follows a hybrid working model that will require you to be in our Manchester or London office three days per week.
