Job Title: Clinical Typist
Hours: Monday – Friday. x1 37.5 hours and x1 30 hours per week

What you'll be responsible for:
· Type clinical correspondence using the audio dictation system.
· Review and finalise any outsourced transcription.
· File correspondence and investigation results into case notes.
· Ensure that all correspondence is checked and digitally signed by the appropriate consultants.
· To liaise and assist Medical Secretaries, and others, in order to ensure correct administration of the patient pathway is conducted.
You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
· An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
· Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times.
· A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.
You'll have the following skills/experience:
· Previous experience where typing was paramount to the role.
· Previous experience of being in an office environment.
· Previous experience of being in an admin role.
This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
