Join our team as Business Development Manager and play a pivotal role in driving Constantia's growth vision. You will be responsible for developing business across selected regions, products, and customers, establishing our footprint in key markets. Collaborating closely with the sales organization, you will support sales growth by delivering valuable insights into market trends, business opportunities, and customer needs. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying profitable market opportunities and initiating impactful projects and initiatives. Among your daily tasks are as follows:
1. Market Analysis & Expansion: Study, analyze, and identify potential markets to expand Constantia's presence.
2. Relationship Management: Establish and manage sustainable, trustful relationships with customers and strategic partners.
3. Project Initiation & Sales Leadership: Identify market opportunities, initiate projects, and lead sales efforts to successfully close business opportunities.
4. Insight Generation & Reporting: Create and report insights on market trends, customer needs, product demands, pricing, and competitor information.
5. Customer Experience & Technical Support: Control and support all aspects of customer experience, and assist the Product Management team in the technical development of new materials.
Technical Requirements
* Higher education in economics, business administration or equivalent
* Approximately 5 years sales experience in packaging (or other relevant) industry
* Proven track record in delivering sales in a highly competitive environment
* Proven success in establishing business in new markets
* Experience in developing yearly budgets and forecasts
Personal Requirements
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* High result orientation and entrepreneurial spirit
* Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
* Excellent negotiation skills
