St. John's RC Academy Nursery, Perth
We are seeking a highly qualified and skilled Senior Early Childhood Practitioner (SECP) with expertise in early childhood learning and development to join our management team at St John’s Academy Nursery.
The post is full-year employment.
As part of the management team, the role involves working alongside the Principal ECP and Nursery Teacher to respond to the individual needs of children and families and support the delivery of high-quality learning and development.
You will assist in organizing and managing the service for the benefit of children, families, and the wider community.

Our all-through school provides education for over one thousand children and young people from nursery to S6. Skills & Experience Required
You must have SNNB/HNC/SVQ 3 in Childcare/Education or equivalent, and be able to evidence additional studies such as PDA or modules from a relevant degree. You should also work towards a qualification to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a Lead Practitioner, e.g., BA Childhood Practice, within SSSC timescales.
You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to and supporting colleagues in developing a flexible childcare and early education service tailored to the needs of children and families within the policies and procedures of the authority and nursery.
