In this dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for delivering efficient and professional recruitment support, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment and onboarding process. This role involves producing recruitment reports, contributing to process improvements, and participating in recruitment events and job fairs. You’ll also handle recruitment-related purchase orders and invoices. As part of the wider People Administration Team, you’ll participate in the helpdesk and inbox rota, collaborate on broader administrative duties, and ensure recruitment tasks are appropriately handed over or covered during absences. About You You’ll be expected to respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders, prioritising effectively and maintaining compliance with council policies and procedures. We are therefore looking for someone with excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle customers to resolve issues where required. You will have demonstrable administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple priorities at once. We would really like to welcome someone who proactively takes responsibility for their work, and who is confident enough to make suggestions for improvements and new ways of working. This role would suit an administrator with a keen interest in recruitment, and who is looking to develop a career in this field.
