Health & Safety Consultant – Birmingham Region (South of England Coverage)
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 Benefits: Travel expenses, pension, 31 days annual leave (incl. bank holidays) Location: Birmingham or South of England, with extensive travel & occasional overnights
Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a respected organisation for an experienced and energetic Health & Safety Consultant. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for someone who thrives in a varied, mobile role and has strong expertise in fire safety and H&S auditing.
The Role
A key position supporting multiple sites across the southern region, ensuring high standards of safety, compliance, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities: • Conduct health & safety audits across the region • Lead on fire safety compliance and complete fire risk assessments • Provide expert advice on H&S policies and procedures • Support management teams to maintain strong safety standards • Deliver training and awareness sessions where required • Travel extensively to client sites, with occasional overnight stays
Candidate Requirements
• Minimum 2 years’ UK Health & Safety experience • NEBOSH qualification • Recognised fire safety qualification • Extensive experience in fire risk assessments • Candidates with stronger fire safety and H&S auditing experience are highly desirable • Full driving licence and own vehicle • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to manage a busy schedule with resilience and flexibility
