We are seeking capable and enthusiastic Learning Assistants with the personal qualities and skills to join the staff team within the Douglas Ewart High School Cluster. You will support pupils with additional support needs to overcome barriers to their learning and reach their full potential.
Applications will be considered for part-time hours.
The fixed-term post may be suitable for secondment. Agreement from your line manager must be sought before applying.
The successful candidates must be educated to SCQF Level 4 (e.g., Standard Grade General, National 4) or equivalent, including Numeracy and Literacy, and have experience working with children and/or young people. A willingness to undertake training is required.
Experience working with children/young people with additional support needs and a visit to the Primary Inclusion Hub prior to application would be advantageous. Training willingness is essential.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check before employment.
