Class 1 HGV Driver - £15.50 per hour - Accrington
We are currently recruiting experienced and reliable Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our busy transport team based in Accrington. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking for steady day shifts with consistent hours.
Location: Accrington
Working Hours: Monday - Sunday, 08:00 - 16:00 (regular daytime shifts)
Pay Rate: £15.50 per hour
Job Role & Responsibilities
* Carrying out general haulage work safely and efficiently
* Completing pallet deliveries to various locations
* Handling container deliveries as required
* Ensuring all goods are transported securely and delivered on time
* Carrying out vehicle checks and maintaining driving standards in line with regulations
* Completing necessary paperwork and keeping accurate delivery records
Requirements
* Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
* Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
* Previous Class 1 driving experience (general haulage or palletised deliveries preferred)
* A professional approach with excellent customer service skills
* Good knowledge of UK road networks and driving regulations
