Michael Taylor Search & Selection are currently working with a leading main contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Digital Construction Manager to join their construction team in the South of England.

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping project delivery through the implementation of digital tools, BIM processes and information management standards, ensuring alignment with industry best practice and client requirements.

The Role
As Senior Digital Construction Manager, you will lead digital construction strategy across multiple projects, supporting project teams and stakeholders in delivering efficient, technology-driven project outcomes.
Key responsibilities will include:
Leading the digital construction strategy across multiple live projects.
Implementing digital information management processes aligned with ISO 19650 standards.
Supporting and contributing to ISO 19650 audit processes through project execution presentations.
Managing and mentoring members of the regional Digital Construction team.
Overseeing the implementation of BIM and digital construction workflows across projects.
Working closely with project teams to integrate digital solutions through design, planning and construction phases.
Supporting bid teams with digital expertise during PQQ and tender submissions.
Delivering training and guidance to project teams on digital tools, BIM processes and best practice.
Collaborating with clients, consultants, supply chain partners and internal stakeholders to ensure effective information management and project delivery.
Analysing project data to identify opportunities for improved workflows and innovation.
Managing responses to Exchange Information Requirements (EIR) and Asset Information Requirements (AIR) across projects.
Ensuring consistent use of BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project digital documentation.
Assessing supply chain digital capability and supporting continuous improvement.
Producing project case studies and supporting regional digital performance reporting.
Requirements
Relevant BIM qualifications or training.
Proven experience implementing BIM within the construction industry.
Strong understanding of ISO 19650, IFC and COBie standards.
Experience using digital construction tools such as Revit, Navisworks, Solibri, Viewpoint 4Projects and COBie.
Knowledge of Morta, Dalux or Power BI would be beneficial.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Enthusiastic about emerging technologies and digital transformation within construction.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to support and develop others within a team.
