Job Title: EC&I Engineer – Capital Project Delivery (Remote, UK) Contract Type : 12 Months Day Rate : £600–£700/day (Umbrella, Inside IR35) Overview Our client is looking for an EC&I Engineer to support the electrical, control, and instrumentation scope of a major capital project in the chemical manufacturing sector. The role is remote with travel (approx. 25%) to Chilton, Clitheroe and Glasgow. Key Responsibilities Deliver EC&I engineering scope in collaboration with EPCM partners Review and approve designs for DCS systems, ATEX/DSEAR compliance, and functional safety Support hazard studies, commissioning planning, and technical documentation Ensure alignment with client standards and regulatory requirements Provide technical leadership and issue resolution Requirements Degree-qualified EC&I engineer with chartered status preferred 10 years’ experience in electrical and control systems engineering Experience with Emerson DeltaV or similar DCS platforms Knowledge of COMAH regulations and high-hazard environments Strong communication and problem-solving skills
