Job Title: Procurement Category Manager
Salary and Benefits:
£65,000 to £75,000 | 10% bonus, company car + full corporate benefits
About the Role:
This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Category Manager to join a global business with diverse operations.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Hard FM spend areas, with a focus on managing large value and complex projects.
Reporting into the Head of Global Procurement - Facilities Management, you will be part of a good-sized team of colleagues at various levels.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing, designing, and continuously improving category strategies, as well as end-to-end sourcing within designated spend areas using a strategic approach.
You will work closely with senior business leads to develop category strategies and category planning, providing continuous advice to stakeholders on market trends, new innovations, and knowledge of the supplier market.
A key aspect of this role is managing and understanding both regulated and un-regulated complex projects, while ensuring the best commercial value for the business.
We are looking for someone who has delivered savings in a similar-sized business, with strong stakeholder management skills, including engaging, negotiating, and influencing senior stakeholders up to Board Level.
MCIPS qualification is nice to have but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Report into the Head of Global Procurement - Facilities Management

Requirements:
* Extensive category management experience in Hard FM
* Strong and proven strategic category management in a large complex business
* Delivered savings in a similar-sized business
* Ability to engage, negotiate, and influence senior stakeholders up to Board Level
* Strong stakeholder management skills
* MCIPS qualification (nice to have)
