Position Overview
Entry Level Mechanical Design and Analysis Engineer at Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E), supporting production test for Boeing Defense Systems programs in Berkeley, MO. Responsible for designing test sets, troubleshooting, supporting product integration, and developing hardware designs.
Responsibilities
1. Design new test sets for weapon and aircraft electronics.
2. Assist shop with build information and read mechanical drawings/schematics.
3. Troubleshoot mechanical components and perform production testing.
4. Support resolution of product issues and research new technologies.
5. Monitor supplier performance and develop hardware designs.
6. Prepare technical documentation and work under close supervision.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications
* Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
* Experience with mechanical design, troubleshooting, and CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or NX.
* Active U.S. Security Clearance within the past 24 months.
* Experience in development programs, production support, or sustainment engineering.
Additional Details
Position is onsite in Berkeley, MO, for 1st shift. Relocation assistance may be available. Salary range: $65,450 - $88,550. Must meet export control requirements and obtain U.S. Security Clearance. Boeing is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in E-Verify.
