Join Our Team as a Chef at Chartwells!
Are you an ambitious Chef ready to create exceptional food experiences? Chartwells is looking for someone like you to join our team on a part-time basis, contracted for 30 hours per week. Your Shift Pattern
* Monday to Friday
Please note: This role is contracted for 43 weeks per year.
Your Key Responsibilities
As a Chef, you will:
* Prepare delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
* Oversee and implement menu changes.
* Identify opportunities to improve our food services.
* Listen to and act on customer feedback to enhance our offerings.
* Support the creation of new menus and innovative food concepts.
* Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image.
* Monitor inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked.
* Ensure kitchen cleanliness to uphold hygiene standards.
* Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health and Safety regulations.
What We’re Looking For
Our ideal Chef will:
* Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.
* Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
* Have experience supervising a team.
* Possess experience in a similar Chef role.
* Hold a Food Hygiene certificate.
* Have a flexible approach to working.
