Key Responsibilities
* Managing and developing a portfolio of business services clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all accountancy and advisory matters
* Overseeing the preparation and review of statutory accounts, management accounts, and financial reports
* Providing proactive business advisory services, including tax planning and strategic financial guidance
* Supporting the mentoring, coaching, and development of junior team members
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships to drive retention and identify opportunities for service growth
* Collaborating with partners and senior leadership on business development initiatives
* Ensuring all work is delivered in line with current regulatory and compliance requirements
Requirements
* ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
* Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
* Demonstrable experience managing a varied portfolio of business services clients
* Strong technical knowledge across accounts preparation, tax, and advisory services
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships
* A proactive, commercially minded approach with a genuine desire to contribute to the firm’s growth
* Strong leadership and team development capabilities
* Proficiency with accountancy software and cloud-based accounting platforms
