Duties of a Vehicle Technician
* Conduct routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards
* Diagnose faults accurately and complete required repairs efficiently
* Perform comprehensive vehicle health checks and identify upselling opportunities as aVehicle Technician
* Communicate effectively with workshop control regarding job progress
* Ensure a first‑time fix rate to maximise customer satisfaction
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
* Conduct MOT testing, if qualified
* Keep up to date with manufacturer guidelines and technical updates
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician
* Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
* Proven experience within a busy workshop environment
* Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence
* MOT qualification is desirable but not essential
