The Cardiac Physiology team at NHS Highland is looking for a new member.
The role involves service delivery of cardiac diagnostic tests such as PCI, ETT, tilt table testing, and ambulatory monitoring. The successful applicant would join our on-call team providing 24/7 access to the catheter laboratory for primary PCI.
We provide complex and brady device implantation and follow-up services, including travelling to remote areas of the Highlands for outlying device clinics.
The department is open to considering newly qualified or inexperienced physiologists, supporting them in completing in-house competencies under a trainee post under Annex 21.
Under Annex 21, training periods of 1 to 4 years are compensated as follows:
* Up to 1 year (365 days): 75% of the pay band maximum of the fully qualified rate.
* More than 1 year but less than 2 years: 70% of the pay band maximum.
* More than 2 years but less than 3 years: 65% of the pay band maximum.
* More than 3 years from completion of training: 60% of the pay band maximum.

The cardiology team includes Consultant Cardiologists, Cardiac Physiologists, Cardiographers, Associate Practitioners, and Cardiology Nurse Specialists.
