Position: Science Teacher
Location: Norton College, Worcester
Salary: £39,519.90 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Science Teacher to join our close-knit team at Norton College in Worcester.
Key Task Areas and Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and teach individual students or small groups, in accordance with the School’s Curriculum framework and related policies.
* Monitor, record, and report on student progress.
* Contribute to and help implement developments related to the School Development Plan.
* Promote, in line with Company policies, the physical, educational, and moral development of students.
* Develop and implement learning environments and programs for individual students to ensure appropriate progression.
* Coordinate teaching, development, assessment, recording, and reporting of subjects and areas of learning across key stages, as agreed with the Headteacher.
* Devise, implement, and review individual education, behavior, and other relevant plans in collaboration with staff.
* Organize the classroom, resources, student groupings, and displays to create a stimulating learning environment.
* Plan to ensure student safety in line with risk assessments, both on and off site.
* Brief Learning Support Assistants, Tutors, Instructors, and care staff to enable effective resource and teaching aid production.
Qualifications and Experience:
* QTS
* Education Degree or relevant experience
* Experience working with SEN and SEMH students
* Understanding of trauma-informed approaches
