We are looking for a dynamic, experienced MR&I Analyst with a passion for renewable energy and sustainability to drive actionable insight across our sales, marketing, and propositions. This exciting new role is key for the next growth phase of the business and will be instrumental in supporting the expanding product portfolio and customer value proposition to make Bryt Energy stand out in a fast paced and competitive market.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
* Joining a passionate unique team within Bryt Energy where sales & marketing meets sustainability and the energy transition to drive the company’s purpose.
* Reporting into the Head of Marketing & Sustainability to continually understand the evolving energy market landscape with customer needs, attitudes and behaviours, to challenge, inform & support key strategic and commercial decisions to deliver our strategy.
* Be at the forefront of market trends to lead insight across the business and into external campaigns to inspire businesses to challenge their status quo and think differently about their energy strategy to get them to Net Zero.
* Working closely with the team & subject matter experts across the sales, marketing, commercial & proposition to input into strategic planning, business cases, monthly updates and adhoc projects within the business and any launches into market, supporting both customer and commercial outcomes.
* Living and breathing the Bryt Energy brand to ensure all projects deliver the company purpose and ensure consistency, accuracy and excellence across everything we do.
YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
* Coordinate and drive a live up to date market research/insight plan to achieve team and company objectives, and investigate any new value-add ideas or channels that could successfully support.
* Thorough market, brand, customer, competitor research and using portfolio data, providing detailed analysis and insight, identifying trends, threats and opportunities to determine the ‘so what’, creating a compelling narrative on a variety of subjects to drive action across the business.
* Utilising quantitative data reports and using qualitative methods to develop category, segmentation models, customer personas and audiences with key monthly reporting on trends, insights and analysis to present back to the management team and ensure easy access to insights across the business.
* Executing on time market research and insight projects from ideation, brief, design to execution and deliverables, including stakeholder management, working with third party external parties where appropriate for the delivery of insight and effectively manage those relationships for the best possible outcomes.
* Ensuring effective systems, policies, and processes are in place to support the market research and insight delivery of wider team objectives.
* Working across and with other departmental functions championing the customer, research and insight acquired.
* Working with relevant internal stakeholders to maintain customer and market contact data in line with GDPR requirements and any other regulatory requirements such as CMA/ASA.
* Working with all process and product sponsors, be the market insight team lead for product/proposition, customer communications / customer journey projects.

Education and Training:
* Proven track record in a similar role or background in disciplines that utilise research and data for analysis and storytelling e.g. business, politics, economics, social sciences, geography, journalism etc.
* Evidence of research from multiple sources with analysis and insight, with recommendations to drive change.
* Interest in the fast-paced energy transition and an appetite to grow and develop in this space.

* Ability to digest, analyse and translate unstructured data/information from a variety of sources into compelling stories with clear actionable insights for stakeholders.
* Attention to detail, finding the gaps and connecting information to create a holistic picture.
* Excellent organisational, research, analytical communication and influencing skills.
* Capable of working within a fast-paced agile environment.
* Self-starter, able to work to tight deadlines, managing multiple projects whilst being focused on key objectives.
* Ability to relate to people at all levels/backgrounds and develop and maintain effective and credible working relationships.
