About this opportunity
An exciting new role in Cumberland Council has been designed to support the delivery of their new Recruitment and Retention Strategy.
This role will be the key to promoting the Council and its values to attract talent and support our work experience programme for the young people of Cumbria. This role is instrumental in implementing and embedding career pathways into the Council by designing and implementing comprehensive early careers development programs tailored to diverse skill sets and aspirations.
We need someone who can engagement with a wide range of young people who can support work experience opportunities and has experience of attraction, recruitment, development, and retention of trainees to all pathways including T levels and supported internships.
Knowledge on career pathways, work experience, T levels, internships, traineeships, and apprenticeships will be an advantage but most importantly we want someone who can be innovative in developing our approach, is ambitious about our offer and deliver with compassion.
You must have the skills to develop relationships and be passionate about supporting Cumberland Council to be a great place for young people to learn, develop and grow.
