<div><h3>Job Overview</h3><ul><li>The post holder is expected to ensure the systematic provision of high quality Community Services across NE Essex and to hold ultimate accountability for the delivery of these services. It is to provide leadership to the services and to manage the human, financial and physical resources across the community services of Essex.</li><li>To ensure these services are effective, well-coordinated and responsive to the changing needs of the local population. In addition the post holder is expected to develop and maintain good working relationships with partner agencies across Essex to ensure the effective delivery of these services, and the multi-agency planning, and delivery of services as a whole in NE Essex and be a key partner in the NE Essex Alliance.</li><li>The post holder is expected to lead on the development and implementation of the Neighbourhood development for NE Essex. In addition the post holder will oversee the budget for the mental health budget for the neighbourhood programme and provide senior oversight of the NE Essex supported accommodation process.</li><li>To interpret and develop policy and strategy relating to community Mental Health Service and ensure that these are reflected in service, Trust and multi-agency plans.</li><li>Develop and manage a range of external relationships, partnerships and strategic alliances including with the county council.</li></ul><h3>Main Duties of the Job</h3><ul><li>To be responsible and accountable for all aspects of the Service.</li><li>To ensure that the services are effective, well-co-ordinated and responsible to the changing needs of the local population across the ICB and Local Authority.</li><li>The post holder will demonstrate skills in dealing with complex complaints including face-to-face meeting with patients and relatives. The post holder will also demonstrate skill to carry out investigations in serious incidents and staff conduct issues.
