Role Overview
As a Sales Assistant, you are the face of the brand on the shop floor – a true brand ambassador. You deliver exceptional service, spark conversations, help customers find the right products, keep the store well‑stocked and maintain a safe and welcoming environment. Your actions bring the company’s purpose, values and behaviours to life.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver friendly, knowledgeable and efficient service to every customer.
* Maintain excellent store standards – merchandising, cleanliness and stock replenishment.
* Operate tills accurately and handle transactions with care.
* Support delivery and stockroom organisation to ensure product availability.
* Follow all operational procedures, including health & safety and loss prevention.
* As a keyholder (if applicable), open and close the store securely and support cash handling and store security.
* Work collaboratively with the team to meet store targets and KPIs.
* Stay informed about promotions, products and services to help customers make informed choices.
* Be a brand ambassador – positive, professional and passionate about what we do.
* Manage physical demands of the role – stairs, heavy stock and long shifts.
Keyholder Responsibilities
* Opening and closing the store.
* Cashing up.
* Carrying out basic management responsibilities.
Skills & Behaviours
* Passion for delivering great customer service.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Team player with a positive, can‑do attitude.
* Reliable, punctual and flexible to work varied shifts.
* Comfortable using tills and handling cash.
* Previous experience in customer service or hospitality.
* Experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
* For keyholders – experience with store opening/closing and basic supervisory responsibilities.
