My client based in Birmingham B4 is looking for an executive personal assistant.


Job Details

* Birmingham B4
* £19.51-£22.64 per hour depending on experience
* Temporary around 3 months
* Monday to Friday
* 09:00-17:00
* Starting ASAP


Main Duties

* Develop and maintain administrative systems to support the activities of the designated Pro Vice Chancellor(s), Director(s), Dean(s) or Senior Manager(s).
* Review, establish and manage systems and record keeping within the designated office, ensuring information is accessible and retained appropriately.
* Maintain a comprehensive and dynamic diary of appointments.
* Maintain a detailed calendar of priorities, deadlines and key events and proactively advise on impending deadlines.
* Prioritise, coordinate, and arrange meetings including the preparation of briefing material, distribution of papers and agendas, and take forward any points of action.
* Maintain records of work, issues pending and work in progress, prioritising work to meet internal and external deadlines.
* Prioritise, initiate, respond to and redirect internal and external communications and arrange for other members of staff to represent when necessary.
* Support various key governance and committee activities including the collation of information, preparation of papers and reports, maintaining confidential records, dealing with queries and full committee support as required.
* Support the Executive's external relation activities, including organisation of inward and outgoing visits and other events as required.
* Produce reports, letters, papers and presentations, drafting appropriate correspondence on own initiative.


What We're Looking For

* Experience of working in a higher education environment.
* Experience of servicing committees.
* A high level of literacy and numeracy.
* Excellent IT skills, including advanced knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software packages, preferably Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* A degree or equivalent professional qualification.
