As a Health Advisor with Bupa Clinics, you will use your training and education to support customers by providing education on how to live longer, healthier, and happier lives. Your primary focus will be on customer interaction, using your skills to assist them with health assessment, education, and lifestyle planning.
Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of Health Assessments to customers
* Maintain accurate client records and be involved in the end‑to‑end process
* Promote and encourage a healthier lifestyle in accordance with Bupa’s current clinical policies
* Carry out clinical testing including body composition analysis, spirometry, heart rate monitoring, gas analysis, diabetes blood test markers, blood pressure measurement, cholesterol profiling, anaemia blood test markers, electrocardiograms, audiometry, and functional movement screening
* Create individual lifestyle action plans using motivational interviewing techniques to promote behaviour change
* Conduct post‑assessment calls to support positive change and action plans
* Ensure safety and safeguarding duties such as prioritising the protection of children, young people and adults at risk
Qualifications
* Degree level or equivalent in exercise physiology, sports science, or nutrition (essential)
* Customer‑facing experience (essential)
* Experience performing measurements or assessments in a health, fitness, or medical environment (desirable)
* Accurate information recording and ability to work within clinical guidelines
* Ability to build rapport with customers and tailor the approach to individuals
* Empathy and skill in motivating customers to make positive health changes
