The Role As a Business Support Administrator, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of administrative functions across our residential homes, central office, and education setting. From managing diaries and procurement to supporting our school with day to day administrative needs, this is a role for someone who thrives on variety, structure, and making things run efficiently. You’ll need to be confident with IT systems, highly organised, and able to manage sensitive information with discretion. Working Hours This is a part-time position with flexible working hours, up to 30 hours per week. The role is to be carried out Monday to Friday, within the hours of 9:00am to 5:00pm, with some flexibility around start and finish times to accommodate work-life balance. Occasionally, there will be a requirement to attend and minute educational meetings, which typically take place between 3:00pm and 5:00pm. We aim to work collaboratively with the successful candidate to agree a pattern that meets both personal and organisational needs. Key Responsibilities Coordinate day to day administrative support across the business, including our independent school Manage diaries, schedules, meetings and internal communications Assist the Maintenance Department with ordering supplies and ensuring timely delivery Support budgeting processes, petty cash tracking, and procurement for both care and education settings Maintain accurate records for office operations, vehicle fleet, and inventory Provide basic IT assistance and general admin support to all departments Uphold confidentiality, organisational policies and compliance standards Contribute to the wider aims of our Therapeutic Community approach About You Previous experience in an administrative role Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems Calm, professional, and detail-oriented Strong written and verbal communication skills Able to manage multiple priorities and maintain discretion Knowledge of Xero, Soldo or Verizon systems is an advantage A relevant business administration qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable Interest in or experience working with education or care settings would be beneficial Why Join Birribi?
